The programs and services provided by Omaha Better Birth Project are evidence-based approaches to improving both maternal and newborn outcomes in childbirth. As with any healthcare program, these services come at a cost; a cost that can be a significant barrier to those without financial security. We seek to fill the gap in access services, advancing our community to a more just and equitable space for all our neighbors.

Doula Access Grants
Providing financial support to help cover the cost of birth and postpartum doula services for low-income and teen families.
Childbirth Education
Empowering Beginnings is a 1-day course, taught by a certified childbirth educator in a safe, inclusive environment. Our course is designed to prepare expecting families for all stages of pregnancy, birth, and newborn care. Available in English and Spanish.
Social Care Assistance
The conditions in which we all live, work, and play can have an impact our health, especially during pregnancy and postpartum. Omaha Better Birth Project helps connect families with community resources to help them thrive.
